Then a couple of years later I was 23. I guess we are all getting old. However, I don't feel too old or left behind. Maybe I am happy being my age.
HW - Oct. 07, 2005 so today at lunch, I felt like quiting for the day. However, I managed to get to the library. I would on one class's homework a little. Then met with some people about a different homework set do monday. I had made a lot of progress and got a lot right so I was happy. One question to go before Monday. I forgot how lazy one can feel at school. Fridays are particularly bad. I need to keep productive.
Airfoil - Oct. 04, 2005 Today, I have been working with xf*oil. It is a simple CFD program for low speed flow. The homework is to design an airfoil for certain conditions. Here is my goofy looking airfoil. You will have to wait till I can load it on one of my UIU*C web accounts.
- - Oct. 01, 2005 Today I got my Illinois driver's license. We went to a neighboring town. It is very small, and the DMV has smaller lines. We had a lovely drive through the fields of Illinois. Anyway, I am taking a break from orbital mechanics. I have another problem to work out and I hope to go by office hours and ask a question. Every wednesday night Va and I have been going to a church dinner with Unlike poor Houston, the weather here is lovely 70-85 during the day. update: he emailed out and answered my question. I guess someone else asked him.
Mathlab - Sept. 26, 2005 So maybe I will keep writing longer this time. I am in grad school at u*iuc. I am having fun with school. Meeting new and interesting people. The exciting part is rediscovering things that I thought were lost. Today it was matlab. I was getting ready to install it on my local machine. I need it for a CFD project. However, Matlab told me it was already installed. I looked and there it was with my old feedback loops still there. The memories of Cal*ise and controls lab.
Day off - Apr. 21, 2005 Tomorrow Va and I have the day off. We will try to make it useful and fun. I hate wasting days or time around the apartment doing nothing. I will see how it goes. -Daniel 9:10 p.m.
